VILLAGE SERVICES
Fall Creek Public Library (877-3334) is located in the Village Hall building. Library hours are:
Mon & Wed 9 am-6 pm Tue & Thu 11 am-7 pm
Closed Fridays Saturday 9 am-noon
A book drop box is located on west side of building.
Fall Creek Village Police Dept (877-3231) is located in the Village Hall building. Check at Clerk's Office for officer on duty.
Fall Creek Area Fire District provides fire protection. The station is located at 530 US Hwy 12 East (east end of building).
Onyx Waste (839-9553) provides curb-side, once a week garbage and recycling service. Residential pick up day is Friday. Commercial pick up day is Tuesday. Contact Onyx for current rates, and to register for service.
The Village of Fall Creek provides water/sewer services, which are billed quarterly. The following is an example of a typical utility bill:

Lawn watering usage does not receive a sewer credit. For larger meter charges, please stop in to the Clerk's office for a schedule. A bulk water rate for filling swimming pools is available. Contact Public Works Director, Michael Wilhelm, at least three days in advance, for separate metering.
OPEN BOOK AND BOARD OF REVIEW
Annually, property owners have the opportunity to meet with the Assessor (Bill Briggs 834-1361) and discuss their assessment at the Open Book. If a property owner wishes to object to his assessment, he must attend the Board of Review, which is usually held in May. Watch for notices.
PARKS & RECREATION
Keller Park, located at the Fall Creek Pond, provides ballfields, tennis courts, horseshoe pits, picnic facilities, nature trails and outstanding fishing. Only non-motorized boats are allowed on the pond.
The Historical Museum, located in Randall Park, houses an impressive antiques display. The Historical Society hosts ice cream socials in the summer.
Fall Creek Valley Memorial Park offers handicap pier fishing and picnic areas.
The Village offers a Summer Rec Program for area boys and girls - baseball, softball and t-ball. Watch for registration information in the February or March school newsletter. During the winter, an ice rink is formed at the elementary school ballfield.
Beaver Creek Reserve, an outdoor environmental education camp known throughout the Upper Midwest, is located just minutes from the Village, three miles north on CTH K.
There are also two county parks nearby: Harstad Park on the Eau Claire River, has camping and picnic facilities, and the scenic Big Falls Park is a favorite swimming spot.
There are numerous snowmobile and cross-country ski trails, and the Stagecoach Bicycle Trail east of Fall Creek.
VILLAGE BURN/COMPOST SITE
The Village maintains a burn/compost site (see map) that accepts clean, unpainted wood, garden waste, leaves and grass clippings only. ABSOLUTELY NO GARBAGE!
The site is open during the following hours:
April 1 thru October 31
First and Third Saturday of each month 9 - noon
Second and Fourth Wednesday of each month 4pm-6pm
November 1 thru March 31
First Saturday of each month 9 - noon
WINTER WEATHER REMINDER
On-street parking is prohibited from November 1 to April 1 from 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. for snow removal purposes. Violators will be fined. Snow must be removed from sidewalks within 24 hours of snowfall. Violators will be fined.

Building Inspector Steve Maley's (797-6474) office hours are Wednesdays and Fridays, 7:00 a.m.- 7:30 a.m.

COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS
The community has several civic organizations such as the Lions Club, Historical Society, Friends of the Library, Friends of the Wise Nature Center at Beaver Creek Reserve, Fall Creek Foundation, Snowmobile clubs, FFA Alumni, and Fall Creek Athletic Booster Club for interested adults. Numerous school and church clubs, along with 4-H,
Boy and Girl Scout troops serve the young people. The school also offers an outstanding summer program with classes in recreation, music and academic studies. A Food Pantry for local residents is located at St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
